Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

child support agency assessment

can tha c.s.a, when making a maintenance assessment, ignore the fact i have a personal loan to re-pay, not for home improvements, when due too a back-log with them, they failed to make contact with me for 6 years, and the assessment they have now made does not include the fact that this loan has to be re-paid,and paying them the amount i have been assessed for, would leave no funds to re-pay my bank for the loan, and would likely lead to the bank stopping my business to re-pay the loan and would result in no funds being available at all.

Re: child support agency assessment

Yes, the CSA (child payment association) can do this, if they are UNAWARE of the loan. You

need to get in contact with a solicitor who deals with family law (if you have not already). The first 20

minutes of the visit to a solicitor is free, and thereafter would be charged, depending on whether you

are eligible for receiving legal aid from the Scottish Legal Aid Office. Also contact your local Citizens

Advice Bureau and any Father's Rights group which can be found through a search on

www.yahoo.co.uk. Any further queries, contact [email protected] and Bobbie Isbell,

Ph.D. of the Scottish Support Group for Victims of False Allegations (SSG-VOFA), will do her best

to assist.

I understand that the CSA is not really an understanding body, and will not sometimes do a through

search to ensure that the payments to the children are balanced against the outgoings of the father.

They sometimes cause the fathers to go bankrupt through their actions, but luckily, unlike the states,

there is, at this time, NO jail time for non payment.
