legal right

i am currently seperated but still married, i have just payed out to my wife to take her name off the title of the property if anytime in the future we decided to get back together and she moves back into the property would she be able to ask for anymore money or have any legal rights to the property again.

You are walking on glass. It is most certainly the case that your wife could come back to you for more money and claim this in any divorce action.

In circumstances such as this it is essential to have a proper written separation agreement. This would record that you have paid your wife a sum of money for her share of the matrimonial home a presumably that in consideration of this, she has agreed not to make any other financial claims on you. Such an agreement would avoid any argument what was agreed at the date of your separation and will often be compelling evidence to any divorce court.
