Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

I am going to apply to get my husband over from Bangladesh and was wondering if its ok to show my part time job income of 500 which is paid into my account along with the 500 rent I get from the house I own, which is given by hand. Will it be alright to show this without the need of showing a full time job if its alright to do so what paperwork will I need to show them to proof that I am getting the rent.

I would also like to know if its ok to show my mums 4bedroom house which is were I am living. Will it be a problem as my mum & dad share 1 room, my 2 brothers and their wives have 2 room and i share the 4th room with my two nephews who are 13 and 9 years old. We have two living room downstairs is it possible to show that my nephews are sleeping in one of the living rooms

Dear Madam,

With regards to your income, you would need to be able to show that you have the applicable funds coming in i.e. you would need to show that you are in receipt of 1000 per month. With regards to needing a full time job, this would depend on what your outgoings are, as there is no set limit as to earnings at present, but you have to show that you have enough left over funds each month to support another person.

With regards to your home, whether or not it would be sufficient would depend on the size of each room. The best option would be to have an independent housing report drawn up by your local council, which will confirm whether it is large enough to accommodate your husband or not.
