Legal Question in Employment Law in United Kingdom

My employers want me to wear a pink shirt.It isn;t in my contract and I have refused to wear one.They have said they will sack me.Have they the right to do this?

This depends on a variety of factors, but as you have provided little information, it is a little difficult to analyse.

Have you re-checked in your contract of employment whether you have to wear any "uniform" or anything that might constitute a certain dress-code. If your employer usually requires you to wear something in particular, then it is likely that you will have to wear the shirt.
