Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in United Kingdom

I have suffered a carbon monoxide leak in our rented accomodation, causing carbon monoxide poising to myself (currently 20 weeks pregnant), my 2 year old son and husband. The plumber contracted by the letting agency knew the (now condemned) fire was faulty back in october but passed it on an inspection and when we contacted the agency about problems with the fire noone carried out any inspections.

we have been to the hospital and also have confirmation from national grid about the severity of the leak and the plumber has admitted to myself and the owner of the property he was aware of the problem with the fire in october.

I would like advice of what to do about being compensated financially?

There is a clear breach here of Health and Safety Regulations by your landlord and you should claim compensation from him and indicate that if this is not paid you will proceed with a claim through the courts.
