Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States Minor Outlying Islands

Fiance, marriage

I got engaged and we are planing to get married sometime this year. My fiance is a UK citizen. We plan to live in US but I don't know where do I have to start. I thought to file for a Fiance visa for him but I still don't know how long wold that take and what will happen once he is here and we get married?

I just need help to find the best way.

The K-1 fiancee visa is taking approximately 6-7 months to process.

There are several options available to you and your fiancee and I'd encourage you to take a look at my web site (http://www.msclaw.com) for comprehensive information.

You may also contact me if you require formal assistance on this matter.

Re: Fiance, marriage

You have some options which should be discussed with competent immigration counsel. Logistics and timetables should be discussed in detail depending on whether you proceed on the basis of a fiance petition or a marriage-based petition.

Responding to this inquiry in no way establishes an attorney client relationship; however, I look forward to exploring these issues with you further by way of telephone or in-person consultation.
