Do people come to my house and rifle through my belongings?
Would people come to my home and take things like couches and dressers? also I have a computer that my parents are letting me store at my home, could they take that? I am surrendering my vehicle, when do they come to get that?

Unless you have personal property of significant value, no one will come to your house. Your parent's property is also safe. If you surrender your vehicle you can call the lender, who will pick it up.
