Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah

I have this company wanting $60 from me every month for 15 months and they are telling me its non cancelable due to them pre-ordering the magazines and that they have a verbal contract with me. There are a lot of scam reports and complaints one this company Subscriber Services Intl Incorporated. I know a verbal contract can be legally binding but I've seen people talking about verbal contracts not being legally binding if the contract takes more than a year to complete? I live in UT and the company is based in CO, any help with this would be nice thank you.

Refuse to pay. They may file an adverse credit report/ If so, sue them in a Utah small claims court. They will have to get a Utah attorney to defend them - which they will not do because of the cost. Ask the court to find that there is no enforceable contract and to order the company to erase the negative credit report within 30 days or else make them liable to pay you some money.
