lein on motel

i feel toldly lied to from the start. i guy who i have worked on several properties for ask me to bid on fixing a motel that was going to lose its national name because it has not been maintained! i got both the owners on the phone they ok $20.00 per man hours on the project. both of them and i met at the motel. going over everything need done. then i get paid $500.00 for materail money to start. 8 days in to the job i was demanding more money and pull off the job. billing then 230 hours

then i find out that the leasee has no money, the property owner saids he has to pay, i got another $1000 out of them, but they said no more money, from the leasee i knowi can lien it, but any other way to collect it.

1) File lies according to the state guidelines, then foreclose on the lien

2) Sue the owners in court and then garnish or attach and sell property.
