Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah

Collection Agency collecting from wrong person.

I have gotten three phone calls from a collection agency looking for someone with my last name, but with a different address, different Social Security number, different birthday, different address history, different everything but last name. They say they won't call again, but they do about every two to three weeks with the same questions. They claim my telephone number is on the credit claim.

Tell the collection agency to not call again, and make all contacts by mail. You should mail a letter with the same information (do not give your address.)
