Child Custody

My ex girlfriend is an illegal immigrant, Does she have the right to keep my kids and file for child support. Because she has been using two social security numbers and is most likely planning on taking my kids out the country

She has the right to file for child support if the kids are with her. However, you have the right to file a parentage action with the district court seeking formal orders regarding paternity of the children, custody and support issues. If you believe she intends to remove the children from the country, I would highly recommend you act immediately by beginning such proceedings in order to obtain a restraining order from the court prohibiting her from taking the children.
