Legal Question in Personal Injury in Utah

How much should I get for a neck injury?

My neck was injured in an auto accident that was not my fault. Certain neck motions hurt, and sometimes my neck just aches even when I'm not moving it at all. I'll be surprised if my neck ever gets back to normal. In fact, I don't expect much more improvement. I (the insurance company) has already spent $3000 on chiropractor bills. How much money should I ask the insurance company for?

You should not settle with the insurance company. You have 2 years from the date of injury to file your lawsuit. You should consult with additional medical resources to get an evaluation of your medical needs. After you know that you are better, or are as good as you can get, then you should negotiate with the insurance company. I suggest you consider using an experienced attorney. Generally a good attorney will recover substantially more than an individual. Example, I recently recovered almost 6 times more than a client was willing to accept from the insurance company. You may call for a free consultation.

It would be impossible to answer this question without evaluating the whole case. Things that make a difference are the insruance company, the facts of the accident, your prior history and many more. If you contact my office I would be happy to dicuss the case with you free of charge.
