Legal Question in Personal Injury in Utah

I am a nurse who got injured at work. I am on worker's comp. I had a Fusion of my spine L4-L5. I am in constant pain. I was sent to a second Dr. who was physically abusive during his examination - to the point that I was crying unhcontrollably. He would not stop grinding his fists into my spine and hips and painful areas, even when I cried out in pain and pushed his hands away. I told my referring doctor, and also I told my worker's comp contact. I also left a message for my worker's comp nurse about it. She has never called me back. I was in bed for 3-4 days in agony after the exam. I have many symptoms that are unresolved from the work injury, even after going through surgery. My sex life is not good for my spouse or myself. My entire life has changed since the accident. I need advocacy. I read the report from the second opinion dr-- it stated that I was tearful and basically was over-reacting! I need advise immediately. My original Dr. made me work for 6 weeks after the injury light duty even though I told him I was experiencing incontinence of bladder and bowel!!!! Then after Physical Therapy reported to him that I was having serious issues he suddenly demanded to do surgery the next possible opening! Please HELP! I have been called by my hoispital and told to come back to work to get me off their rolls and that I wouldn't have to do any work, they would set up a bed for me. The Dr who was the second opinion is affiliated with the hospital who employs me, by the way.

You need to get a new doctor - immediately - who is not affiliated with your hospital, and get a full examination and recommendation.

The second doctor apparently works for Work Comp, they pay him for his poor opinions.

You are welcome to call for a free consultation.
