Physical therapy

I was rearended last year and went to physical therapy for six months after the accident, now opposing insurance states excessive PT and will not pay for it. What to do now?

The opposing insurance is responsible for all reasonable health care costs. Get a statement from the treating PT and your doctor that the treatment was reasonable and prudent. Send copies of the statements to the insurance co and give them 10-15 days to make payment. If they refuse, you can either hire an attorney, or if the amount is $5000 or less you can sue the person who caused the accident in small claims court. The insurance company will have to hire an attorney to appear to represent the defendant - meaning that it will be cheaper to pay the claim. If the total of all of your medical bills is more than $3000 you may be entitled to compensation for pain and suffering - and can sue for more money at the same time.
