I took out a loan for a friend and bought a car, my name is on the loan and my name and theirs is on the registration of the vehicle. I am in utah and they are in Idaho. They stopped paying the loan and I want to get the car back from them. since their name is on the registration with mine the police in idaho claim I cannot demand the car. what can I do to get this vehicle in my possession and their name off the registration?
