Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Utah

My neighbors started tearing down with the intent replace a common fence without notifying me. When they started, my two dogs were allowed to escape their secure back yard while I was at work. One of my dogs was hit and killed. Do I have any recourse against this neighbor's intentional disregard towards the safety of my two little dogs?

Yes if it was a common fence and you had part ownership. At a minimum you are entitled to compensation for your dog.
