I am not sure I understand the question, but here is an attempt to answer what I think your question is. Once you die, the person you have appointed in your will as Personal Representative will then have to file a petition with the court asking to be appointed and have the estate probated. Once the courts agrees to the appointment, the Personal Representative can begin as the administrator--i.e., collecting the assets and making sure all bills are paid before paying the heirs or beneficiaries.
