Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

I'm an heir to an estate that has a reverse mortgage on the home. I've been living with my deceased parent in this home until her death. What options do I have to keep the home?

The terms of the reverse mortgage usually call for the heirs to repay the outstanding balance on the reverse mortgage. You may need to refinance the house - IF you are the heir of the house. If your parents left a trust or will follow those instructions. If not, you will need to file probate to get title to the home transferred.

You may call for a free consultation.
