Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Vermont

Bill in collections???
I have a bill that just went to collections for $4900.00 and they are telling me they will not take any payments I offered $300.00 per month and they say no it has to be in full or they will garnish my wages up to 25% Is this legal???

I may be able to help you negotiate a smalk % payoff rather than full payment. You may also have a case vs Them for violation of Federal law.
