Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Vermont

Restrict others access to my right of way?

I have a 60 foot wide 600 foot long deeded right of way easement over town land to access my house which is otherwise landlocked. I maintain a driveway in this easement. Occasionally others park on my driveway to access town land. The town pays me no compensation to maintain the my driveway. Can I restrict vehicular or foot access to my driveway or the entire right of way?

It depends on the nature of the easement, and the rights that another may have acquired that would permit them continued access and Use.
