Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

I received a warrant in debt state of VA for a credit debit..I have no assets, I have no job..what happens if I do not show up for court..I understand that the other party wins, ok..but what do they win if i I have nothing.. Can they garnish future wages? My husband is in the military, can they garnish his wages? I dont know what to do about this

If you fail to appear (after having been properly served with notice of the

lawsuit), the court will likely grant your creditor a default judgment against you

in the amount referenced on the warrant. Your creditor could then garnish any

wages that you may earn in the future but not those of your husband unless

he also had been named as a defendant in the creditor's lawsuit.
