Re: Power of estate

Depends upon whether you mean power of attorney (POA)or conservatorship, the former which is voluntarily given by the subject person and the latter through an appointment by a court of proper jurisdiction.

If your father has already given his POA to another person to act for him in his affairs, only he can withdraw it and give it to someone else.

However, if you seek to overturn a conservatorship, you would have to petition the court having jurisdiction over the matter for a hearing on your request to replace the conservator which the court had previously appointed for the good and persuasive reasons(which you had better have) and which you would present to the court at the hearing on the matter.
