Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

Filed a 30 day notice to our tenant, then filed a Unlawful detainer and was told to file a writ of Possession in 10 days , the tenant filed chapter 7 the same day, can they now stay in the property until the court hearing date 1/26/10

Very likely so, if you've been named as a creditor until the bankruptcy trustee has lifted the automatic stay as it may apply to you and for which you should apply immediately .
