Employment
I was hired as a program analyst, never got a job description or job duties or ''other job duties as assigned'' verbally or on paper. my company just lost a huge contract and lost their admin; now theya re trying to make me sit at the receptionist desk and play receptionist and I don't want to as I was not hired for that. Can they do that legally?I asked them why me and not the other three ladies here and he said because I had that background.

Unless you were hired pursuant to the terms of a specific contract of employment and your current job assignment would be in clear violation of such a contract, I doubt that you have a remedy for your current situation other than, obviously, seeking new employment.
