Is it legal for a company to require you to reimburse them for relocation costs if they charge the government for the cost of your relocation as part of your contract?

s a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answer. It depends on how your contract deals with this issue. If it's silent, then it depends on how the parties agree. It's certainly not fair, as they're getting you to essentially pay to relocate, but not per se illegal. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
