Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
getting paid for Commissions
I am currently getting paid salery plus commission. My employer is holding my commissions untill my salery ends and then claims he will pay me even though he's already been paid over two months ago. Can he do that, or is there any legal action I can take?

Re: getting paid for Commissions
Commissions as a general rule are suppose to be paid when earned.
As to any legal action which you might pursue to expedite such payment, of course, you could always sue your employer, but then you might find yourself out of a job.
