Possession of Ashes

Who gets possession of a child's ashes after the divorce is final? The papers did not address it at all. The death occurred before any filing of papers. It has been 6 years.

Hard to say, but I would think that the deceased child's parents would want to make serious efforts to come to an agreement to avoid having to litigate the matter.
