Unsigned Notice of Appeal

Is a Notice of Appeal (GDC to CC) (Civil) legal if it is unsigned (Virginia)? The attorney's name is typed under the signature line, but it is not signed nor dated.

The typed name of the attorney and the date presumably stamped on the document when it was submitted to the clerk are probably sufficient.
