over charged on a car

i purchased a 2000 ford explore in 2/2004.15,500 was the financial amount. I have recently noticed that the apr is 15.5%.is there anything i come do to get my apr lowered. please help.I'm been over charged.

Some two and one half years have elapsed since this purchase, and you're now just discovering the APR interest rate is 15.5%?

Other than making an appeal to the lender(or whoever now owns the loan), neither of which is likely to be very accommodating to your request, I'd say you're pretty much stuck unless you can find another lender such as a credit union which might be willing to refinance the vehicle at a lower rate.

Your question demonstrates that you are of above-average intelligence, in that you read the contract you signed a mere 2 1/2 years later. Most of my clients never bother to read them at all.
