unauthorized debit exceeding agreed cotract amount

my gym debits 89.95 from my checking every month. looking at my bank acct. from yesterday and looking back at other months i was debted $2.65 from the gym. i called costomer service and was told '' somone from my family is buying drinks and charged them to my acct. '' ( i found out was my 16yr old son) i then said '' my contract states monthly payment with tax is $89.95 and no where on my contract does it state additional purcheses can be withdrawn without a signed consent'' i was told ''any purches in the gym made by a family member can be debited from your acct '' also '' if i'd like ... in writting i can request to have my member fee withdrawn and nothing else '' that sounds backwards to me? my question is.. is it leagal to withdraw addional $ that exceeds my agreed contract amount other than late or non suff. funds ?
