Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Billing Statement Requirements

I am in VA and have an account that has been sent to--name removed--collection agency in MD. I am able to make payments online. The only problem that I have is that I do not receive any type of billing statements or notification each month. This makes it difficult to see the activity on my account. I do, however, receive random phone calls from the woman who handles my account. Even after I have made--name removed--payment, she calls and says thatt I have not or to make another one. I asked her to start sending me--name removed--statement each month, and she said the only way I could do that was to make payments in an amount over what is stated on the website where I make my payments. Is there any law that requires--name removed--company to send notifications to debtors of accounts that need to be made?

Re: Billing Statement Requirements

Unlikely, once the accounts have been adjudged delinquent and mutually satisfactory arrangements have been made for the debtor to make periodic payments.
