Child Support Arrearages
I was told that adeadbeat parent that is applying for any type of medical license must be clear of any child support arrearages before obtaining a medical license... Is this true?

In Virginia one applying for a professional license such as a medical or law or other categories such as barber and cosmetician may be barred from obtaining the license if they have accumulated child support arrearages which exceed a certain level ($5000?).
