Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

My girl friend cosign a student loan for her sister, but now she has not benn paying/ making late payment and seems to not want to pay at times. My girl friend has A1 credit. We want to know is there anyway possible to either cancel the schooling and loan or take her name off as a cosigner please help because this is really starting to wear us out and her sister is now mad that we ask about it and says she will pay when she gets ready.

No, no way for your girlfriend to get out of the deal which she never should

have voluntarily agreed to sign onto without her paying the full amount due

under the loan agreement(in my opinion).
