Is it legal or not?

Can a credit card company call me at work about what I owe them and to receive a payment?

Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act(FDCPA), you may instruct the company to limit their calls to your home only, and not to contact you at your place of employment, and then, only

within the hours specified under "The Act."
