payday loan
I got myself caught up in the payday loan trap and now I am face with possible criminal charges. I was told by the lawyer that the people whom I put as references could also be charge what should i do?

What charges? Your lawyer? If you have a lawyer, you should consult him or her and not an online forum.
If you want a lawyer to look into whether you have claims against (and can sue) the loan company, there are a number of attorneys who do those cases.

You should not be relying on the loan company lawyer(if that's who it is)for an assessment of your supposed criminal liability for taking out one of these predatory payday loans.
Arrange for a consultation with a local criminal defense counsel who should be able to advise you as to what your alleged legal predicament/exposure may in fact be(if any)and what you may now need to do(if anything).
