Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Can an 18 year old boy date a 16 year old girl in virginia and if they "were" to have sex would he be a child molester or sex offender,
We are just concerned our son is turning 18 december and we would hate for him to get in trouble.

Your son does not want to get charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor which is a misdemeanor or any more serious crime (felonies). These are possibilities.
