Autobiographical Accountability
Simply put: Can an autobiography be used as an admission of guilt?

Author: Nathan McCall
Book: Makes Me Wanna Holler
Chapter: 6, ''Trains'' - urban slang for gang rape - He (Nathan McCall)writes about how he and his gang kidnapped and raped several women. Can they (McCall and gang) be held accountable for this since this is his autobiography? Despite state statutes on rape, can he still be criminally prosecuted or only sued in a civil case? Thank you if you can help me.

This alleged rapist may not be prosecuted now if the statute of limitations has actually run out on the crime(s), and was not put on hold(tolled) due to the minority or other incapacity of one or more of the alleged victims.
Also, if the statute of limitations for possible
civil actions has also expired, the miscreant would not be suable in civil court, despite
whatever admissions he may have made in his autobiography.
