Is buying prescription drugs (xanax) on the internet illegal?
Is buying prescription drugs like xanax over the internet legal? I see all of these sites and a friend of mine bought some once. They got a letter from the Customs and Border Patrol saying that buying them from overseas was illegal. Is buying them from a company based in the US legal? Someone told me that it is but I have my doubts. Please help!

The legitimate sites require proof of the legitimacy of the purchaser's prescription before they will ship.
