Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I am dating this guy that his ex-girlfriend kept calling my cell phone my place of work and threatning and harrassing me. I finallyhad enough and made a police report and had an warrant put out on her. The day she was served her warrant she got made and took out one on me saying i trespassed on her property June 12 or round about almost a month ago. Which i didnt if i had why not have taking out one on June 12 unstead of a hole month later and after she got served her's. My question is what do i need to do. The home which she says i trespassed has her name and his her ex boyfriends name on it. So at times because he still had things there and he had no transportation he would have me drop him off so he could get his things or pick him up from the house if he had to go to do maintance on the house. So i had his ok to be there again though i never was on the property i would always park in front of the house.

Your probable defenses to this charge of trespassing then would be:

1. You never set foot on the property at issue;

2. You also had the permission of one of the owners/occupiers(your boyfriend) to enter the property if you needed to do so.

Consequently, the charge of trespassing is unsupported by the required facts and should be dismissed.
