Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Possession Charge with only paraphernalia?

I was pulled over. The officer asked to search the car. I agreed, though i didnt know that in the pile of junk in my car was a bowl and a grinder(found after further searching after the bowl was found). I admitted to smoking infrequently, and to owning the bowl, he never asked if the grinder was mine. The officer did not find any, marijuana, but gave me a Possession Charge, and not a paraphernalia charge. Is there any way you see that any of this information can get me out of some trouble.

Re: Possession Charge with only paraphernalia?

If you were charged with possession, there must have been some marijuana residues in the bowl.

Consequently, you would seem well advised to arrange for a consulation regarding this matter with a criminal defense counsel.
