Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I was pulled over in march of 2012 by a virginia state patrol officer and was given tickets for dead registration and no seatbelt. prior to writing my tickets the cop asked me step out of the car and then asked me if I had any illegal substances in my car or on my person. I told him of course not and he said ok and allowed me to get back into my car. I was not searched and neither was my car. the cop gave me my tickets for the registration and seatbelt, explained how to pay out of court and told me to drive safely.

I was recently trying to find my charges on my county courts website ( which is page county Virginia ) and discovered I have also been charged with marijuana possession, two child restraint charges for a minor under 8 yrs and one child restraint charge for a minor 8-17. the only child in my car at the time was my son who is 3 and he was tightly buckled into his car seat.

how can I prove that the cop never searched me or my car in order to find the drugs which I allegedly possessed, or the fact that I had one child, not three in my car at the time.
