PWID x 2, 1st offense

I was recently arrested and charged with possession w/intent, 1 mis. (2 grams) and 1 felony (1 ounce), I sold to an undercover two different times. They say they have it on tape and video of the deals. I was set up by a ''friend''. I went to the arraignment today and was told my charges were distribution (mis.) and intent (felony). What is my chances of seeing jail time? This is my first offense, and I am trying to keep this off of my record (Financial Aid will be taken away, etc)Is there anyway I can qualify for SIS? Realistically what am I looking at?

These are serious charges and you should immediately be seeking the services of competent defense counsel to represent you whether retained by you or appointed by the court.

Whether or not you can get a Suspended Imposition of Sentence(SIS) out of this legal imbroglio will likely depend upon whether or not you can get the felony count dismissed as part of a plea bargain

before trial or somehow gain an acquittal on this felony count if in fact you end up going to trial.
