Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

warrant of arrest

my half sister and her husband had a warrant of arrest issued to my section 18.2-427- (va) use of obscene, profane, lewd, lascivious or indencent language to make an obscene suggustion or proposal to or threateh an illegal or immoral act with the intent to coerce, intimidate or hass over the phone or citizen band radio, basic I never talked to her since about 1/2/09, I called her huband as I received a termination gas bill they owed me for 540.78, they paid all but 15.26 the next day and I sent a letter stating that I was going to take a warrant in debt, I did call him on the cell phone and told him to pay the bill, he told me it was in my name and my problem, I did say damn but that was all I said to him, he called my cell back and I told him he was not to call this number ever again. So where do I stand? I turned myself in and have copies of my cell phone billing and home number billing, the bill from the gas company, she states she is afraid of her life, I had major back surgery on 12/17/09 and have proof of that also. What do I need to do to prove they are telling lies under oath?

Re: warrant of arrest

Your next step should be to retain the services of a competent criminal defense counsel to represent you in this matter(if you haven't already done so), and who should be able to address with greater reliable specificity any and all questions which you may have regarding this situation than any attorney in this forum.
