Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
A year ago my friend purchased a boat off of Craig's list without a title. He use the information from another boat to register this new one. Needless to say he was caught and is currently facing trial. The DA has only offered a six month jail term plea deal which my friend refused. How severe is the sentencing if he found guilty?

Attorney.
