Legal Question in Environmental Law in Virginia

Sewage health realted issue

I moved into this townhome in August 2004. The day I moved in, a section of my carpet was wet. The prop. manger says it was only water. they brought ina fan to fry up the water. March 17...there was a plumbing problem with my building and sewage backed up into my home per the prop. manger. I called the complex and they have yet to respond to my 5 attempts to get someone out here and it is the following monday. I have been itching since I moved into this place and have an appointment to go to my doctor today. What should I do?

Re: Sewage health realted issue

You may be reacting to either the sewage backup or mold caused by the wet/damp carpet. The property manager or someone else might have legal liability. Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
