Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I'm a US citizen marrying an Indian citizen. We plan to marry here but then also conduct Islamic religious ceremonies in India. The Islamic ceremony requires me to convert, sign documents relating to such non-forced conversion/marriage, etc. Do these documents have any bearing if I am married and living here in the US?

Without reviewing these documents and resolving any related questions

which they might raise, I don't see how an answer could be provided

that would be reasonably reliable.
