Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

i have court today in Fairfax county Va, i have full custody of my daughter, both legal and physical and the non custodial parent is seeking visitation , fine, i have no problem with that, but what i do have an issue with is the fact that he is moving out of the state, to the state of Washington and wants my daughter to fly out there to see him, for his visitation, he has not been present in her life, for 12 years and the last two have been spotty at best, i dont know the arrangements he has made out in

Washington nor who he will be living with or anything and i dont feel comfortable putting my daughter on a plane every few months to fly across the country into an unknown situation, what are my rights as the custodial parent with full custody

Hopefully you have an attorney who will object and put on evidence as to why its not in her best interest. Talk to your attorney and the GAL. You deserve to know the living arrangement, where she is, who she is with, that she is in a safe, healthy environment, etc. Good luck.
