Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband and I have been legally separated nearly two years. He purchased a home after being apart for one month. My question is Am I legally entitled to the purchase? He also has an 401K plan.We married in 1995.

Yes, you may have a valid marital claim to this property if in fact

marital funds, i.e., those accumulated during the marriage through joint

contributions (in one form or another) of both spouses were used

to purchase it.

And, yes, you may also have a supportable claim to his 401K pension fund.
