Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have joint custody with my ex of our two boys, but they live full time with me. She does not pay any child support, but I have to pay her alimony. Why should she not pay child support or get less alimony.

She certainly should be responsible for child support. Depending on the spousal support order you may also be able to reduce your spousal support obligation. In Virginia we have child support guidelines which are pretty straight forward in determining how much support you should be getting from her. Feel free to give me a call at 571-271-1446.
