Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I live in Virginia and have a 7 month year old son and his father has done nothing for him at all and pays no child support. He now wants visitation, alone outside of my home, but because of his age and attitude towards strangers i do not think this is a good idea. what will happen when we go to court? Also, i will be getting married and moving out of state, from VA to CA during this time, how will this affect the case?

If this father petitions the court for visitation(assuming no issue involving

paternity) he will likely be awarded reasonable visitation which could include

the unsupervised variety if there are no credible facts contraindicating it.

You, of course, could also ask for an award of child support at the same

hearing.
